The coming up of tablets and smartphones, and the many possibilities these devices offer, make that people not only want to watch 'live' television on the couch, but also on other places. The online watching of many program's is already possible, but nowerdays it's also possible to watch 'live' television online. Many tv providers (or manufacturers of digital receivers) offer this possibility through a special app (tablet or smartphone), software (laptop) or website (laptop). You can determine yourself where and on which device you want to watch televsion. And who watches on which device...

For many tv-providers an internet subscription, next to a tv subscription, is necessary (within the same provider). The tablet or smartphone needs to be connected to your home network to watch 'live' digital tv.

To use the available apps from manufacturers you need a settop box from that manufacturer. The tablet or smartphone needs to be connected to the digital receiver to watch digital (satellite) tv.

Within Play Store you look for the tv provider or manufacturer of the digital receiver. An overview of available apps will be shown, from which you can choose the appropriate option to watch digital tv online.
