With a NDS solar panel you have your own power supply based on daylight. With a solar panel you capture your own (free) energy in all wheather conditions. In this way you never have to depend on the power supply of a camping, motorhome spot or harbour. You always have your own clean energy with you for all your devices.

Solar panels with mounting brackets

The SOLENERGY photovoltaic modules with builtin mounting brackets achieve the best performance. Each module has monocrystalline silicon cells which are protected by a Tedlar-layer. The high transparant hard and textured glass, with a low iron content and an anti-reflection layer, improve the efficiency with maximum 17.25%. The ultra thin vacuum EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) upper- and underlayer assure a maximum protection of the solar panel.

The SOLENERGY series solar panels are -optional- available with a maximum power of 85W, 100W, 120W, 150W or 175W. The 100W version is additional available in 2 different versions: a 'normal' version and an 'extra small' version. The power of the small version equals other 100W solar panels; only the dimensions of the panel differ, which makes this solar panel even more easy to mount on top of your motorhome, caravan or on board of your boat.

Easy to install:

The NDS SOLENERGY solar panels are supplied with a 6 meter long cable and built-in mounting brackets; this makes the installation of the solar panels very easy. The dark solar panels have a beautifull design and give your roof an extraordinary look.

Please notice: the NDS SOLENERGY solar panel can be extended with an 'installation kit', existing of: a (waterproof) cable entry and a MPPT Suncontrol2 NBUS (inverter).

Quality

SOLENERGY solar panels meet the highest quality ans safety rules, i.e. conform IEC61215, IEC61730 and ISO9001/ISO14000-certificates. The solar panels can resist the heaviest wheather conditions and are well resistant to scale and contamination.

Each solar panel has bypass diodes which prevent overload in individual cells. In this way the loss of power by possible shadow corrections is limited.

SUNCONTROL2

SUNCONTROL2 is the latest charge controller of NDS with seperate inputs for 2 different solar panels. The MPPT technology enables the energy of any type of solar panel (12 V nominal) to be maximised and perform state-of-the-art charging curves, even for LiFePO4 batteries.

The Opticharge algorithm, developed by NDS, optimizes the charging based on the need of the battery which extends the service life of the battery.

SUNCONTROL2 is equipped with the new N-BUS communication protocol, compatible with Ci-Bus: you can control all on board devices and manage these all from one single NDS Controller.

N-BUS

N-BUS is the multi device communication protocol fully developed by NDS and compatible with CI-BUS.

With N-BUS, your energy devices are connected and exchange information for more efficient onboard energy management. The network of devices has many advantages, such as easy firmware updates and simplified operation with one simple interface.

MPPT

MPPT is the algorithm that always enables the “Maximum Power Point” that is supplied by the solar panel. A charge controller with MPPT technology is capable of achieving a significantly higher efficiency than PWM technology (up to 25% more).
