Iridium Maritime Certus 350 / 700 - Volume Allowance Plans, per month

Iridium Maritime Certus is a new satellite data communication / satelliet internet network of Iridium. This new network is fully compatible with the existing network of Iridium and existing devices of Iridium. With 66 new operational satellites Certus has a significant higher capacity and options available for data communication by satellite and internet options by satellite. Both on land and at sea.

The Iridium Maritime Certus 350 / 700, Monthly Volume Allows Plan exists of:

• A minimum terminal commitment period of 3 months;
• A minimum voice duration of 20 seconds. Increments are also 20 seconds based.
• The minimum duration for data streaming is 6 seconds / 1 KB. Increments are based on 6 seconds / 0.01 KB.
• The minimum IP Usage* is 0.001 MB. Increments are based on 0.0001 MB.

** = Where available, Local Number Access provides Iridium subscribers with a local country code telephone number assigned to the Iridium Certus terminal to provide reduced rate incoming calls. Charges for inbound calls using Iridium subscriber’s Local Access number will be billed to the Iridium terminal. The Calling party solely pays their carrier the prevailing rate for a call to the Local Number's Country Code. Data & SMS services are not supported under the Local Number Access service. Local Number Access is only available for postpaid services. At launch, Local Number Access will solely be available for the US Country Code. Other countries may become available in the future. Iridium reserves the right to charge a nominal fee for additional countries as they become available.

1. Prices are in EUR. Iridium reserves the right to modify or delete plans as necessary. All prices are subject to change without notice. Iridium retains the right to adjust pricing/rates in accordance with fluctuation in exchange rates and supplier price increases.
2. Monthly fees will be charged in advance, aside from the initial monthly fee, which will be charged in arrears. Initial monthly fee / allowance are pro-rated based upon the number of days active. Final monthly fees will not be pro-rated regardless of deactivation date for all Iridium Certus plans.
3. Unused allowance does not carry over month-to-month.
4. Reactivation Fees apply to all Iridium SIM Card types. No downgrade fee or reactivation fee applies to switching between data plans, except for penalties involved when a longer-term commitment period was purchased.
5. If the terminal is disconnected prior to the end of the terminal's minimum commitment, an early termination charge will apply. For clarity, the full Early Termination Fee will still if the terminal is disconnected only 3 days prior the end of the commitment timeframe.
6. The VSAT Companion Plan is only to be used as a secondary complementary service integrated with an associated VSAT service. It is not intended as a primary means of communication.
7. Service Provider shall ensure that, in every instance, equipment is configured to route all data communications via Service Provider's VSAT Service whenever possible, and ensure that the VSAT Companion Service is only used for data communications when such VSAT service is not available due to atmospheric conditions, network conditions or VSAT terminal maintenance or connectivity issues. To clarify, the VSAT Companion Service shall not be used as the primary means of communication used for day to day operations.
8. Iridium reserve the right to temporarily throttle or suspend Iridium VSAT Companion Service to any Subscriber(s), with coincident notice to Service Provider, at any time, and for the period of time, when it is determined that an installation or program task has not been performed in accordance with terms listed. Further Iridium reserve the right to suspend and/or deactivate any and all VSAT Companion Subscribers with immediate effect and with coincident notice to Service Provider at any time that it is determined that such service constitutes a threat to the integrity of the network including the ability to serve other customers.
9. Service Provider shall ensure that all VSAT companion communications are managed in accordance with Iridium’s Fair Access Policy.
10. Prohibited uses and activities include, but are not limited to, using the Service to:
    Conduct Restrictions: Access peer-to-peer file sharing (including but not limited to LimeWire, BitTorrent, Shareaza, Kazaa, iMesh, e-Donkey, DirectConnection, Open FT, Gnutella, FastTrack, Napster); Download music, full-length movies and videos through services similar to Netflix, Amazon Direct, Pandora and YouTube; Accessing unauthorized VoIP services including but not limited to Skype; Hosting of server devices such as email, FTP or web servers; Hosting computer applications such as web-cam feeds and internet-based PC backup services that archive your data on a central server; or Undertake or accomplish any unlawful purpose. This includes, but is not limited to transmitting or disseminating information, data or material which in any way constitutes or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, or otherwise violate any local, state, federal, or non-U.S. law, order, or regulation.
    Network and Usage Restrictions: Restrict, inhibit, or otherwise interfere, regardless of intent, purpose or knowledge, with the ability of any other person to use or enjoy the Service; or Restrict, inhibit, interfere with, or otherwise disrupt or cause a performance degradation, regardless of intent, purpose or knowledge, to the Service or any Iridium network
11. Iridium prefers to inform customers of inappropriate activities and give them a reasonable period of time in which to take corrective action. However, if the Service is used in a way that Iridium, in its sole discretion, believes violates this Policy, Iridium may take any responsive actions it deems appropriate under the circumstances with or without notice. These actions include, but are not limited to, the immediate suspension or termination of all or any portion of the Service. Neither Iridium nor its agents will have any liability for any of these responsive actions. These actions are not Iridium's exclusive remedies and Iridium may take any other legal or technical actions it deems appropriate with or without notice.
