The NDS SOLARFLEX SFS series is available in 4 versions: 60W, 115W, 140W or 155W. This serie of solar panels has a flexibility of 30%, which makes the solar panel sufficient for almost every surface. Whether this is on the roof of your mobile home, motorhome or on board of your ship or (mega)yacht. Thet SOLARFLEX SFS solar panel uses less space and has maximum performace due to the efficient monocrystalline solar cells, which are 'captured' in 9 layers.
Innovative multiwire solar cells
NDS has placed the solar cells in the SOLARFLEX SFS solar panel very close to each other, the distance between the solar cells is 7 times less compared to 3bb solar cells, which has a positive effect on the energy througput.This makes the solar cells also even better resistant against micro fractures. The multiwire connection (front and back) reduces heat by 50% compared to normal solar cells. That is why the NDS SOLARFLEX EVO solar panel is also very efficient during warm seasons.
3 meter cable and junctionbox included
The SOLARFLEX SFS solar panel has a so called Junction Box. This Junction Box is the hart of the 3 meter long bipolar connection cable and has an external protection sheath, so the box is also protected agains the most unfavorable weather conditions. Also this makes this solar panel very suitable for use on board of your ship or on top of your mobile home or motorhome.
Please notice: the NDS SOLARFLEX SFS solar panel can be extended with an 'installation kit', existing of: a (waterproof) cable entry and a MPPT Suncontrol2 N-BUS (inverter).

SUNCONTROL2
SUNCONTROL2 is the latest charge controller of NDS with seperate inputs for 2 different solar panels. The MPPT technology enables the energy of any type of solar panel (12 V nominal) to be maximised and perform state-of-the-art charging curves, even for LiFePO4 batteries.
The Opticharge algorithm, developed by NDS, optimizes the charging based on the need of the battery which extends the service life of the battery.
SUNCONTROL2 is equipped with the new N-BUS communication protocol, compatible with Ci-Bus: you can control all on board devices and manage these all from one single NDS Controller.
N-BUS
N-BUS is the multi device communication protocol fully developed by NDS and compatible with CI-BUS.
With N-BUS, your energy devices are connected and exchange information for more efficient onboard energy management. The network of devices has many advantages, such as easy firmware updates and simplified operation with one simple interface.
MPPT
MPPT is the algorithm that always enables the “Maximum Power Point” that is supplied by the solar panel. A charge controller with MPPT technology is capable of achieving a significantly higher efficiency than PWM technology (up to 25% more).
