GigaBlue UHD QUAD 4K

The Gigablue UHD Quad 4K is the latest model of GigaBlue, with a larger TFT colour display, two internal card readers, a Gigabit Lan Ethernet port and four USB High Speed ports. And UHDTV compliant!

The GigaBlue UHD Quad 4K is a Twin HD TV set-top box, based on Linux and with a hybrid function. By combining the DVB-S/S2, DVB-C/C2, DVB-T/T2 and IPTV the GigaBlue UHD Quad 4K is turned into a multifunctional set-top box / multimedia player.

Two built-in DVB-S2 (FBC) tuners are default, which allows the independent use of tuners. 1 extra tuner slot offers the possibility to extend the receiver with a Plug & Play DVB-S2x, DVB-C/T2 or Dual DVB-C/T2 tuner.

The strong processor offers you a high resolution and a very fast zapping betweeen channels.

With the integrated network connection and/or an optional WiFi USB-dongle your receiver can be connected directly to the internet and (almost) all IPTV service providers.

With the powerfull BCM7252S video processor it's possible to play videos, no matter where they are stored. Whether this is an external USB / e-SATA-drive or via IPTV streams via your network. With the five-speed USB ports you probably have more then enough options to extend to external storage devices or other devices you want to connect.

Please notice: The 2x DVB-S2 FBC tuners can be compared with 8 'seperate' DVB-S2 tuners, when combined with an Unicable LNB. When an universal LNB is used, the tuners can be compared to a Dual tuner.

Twin tuner set-top box and 4x PiP

You can determine yourself when and how many channels you want to record or watch in PiP (= Picture in Picture). It's possible to record up to 16 programs simultaneous and 4 programs in PiP.

Timeshift

Are you watching football or your favourite show and the phone rings? With only one push of the button the program will be recorded / paused and can be continued whenever you want. Up to 2 hours scenes can be reviewed or skipped. Determine yourself what you want to see or not...

Sat>IP streaming or multiroom

Watching satellite tv wherever you want, via your own home network. By streaming the satellite tv signal via your home network, you can watch TV wherever you want. In each room of your home or other building. And with the App you can even stream the TV signal to your mobile devices (like tablet or smartphone), so you can enjoy even outside in your garden watching tv / your favourite program.

Surround sound

UNIQUE! Extension to multiple (bed)rooms without coax cables!

Gigablue has introduced an unique product to the market with the IPBox. Via your home network you can connect -in the required room- the GigaBlue IP Box to your router (via WiFi is possible but not recommended). The IP Box uses -via your network- one of the free tuners in your Gigablue UHD Quad 4K receiver and has all the same functions available in this way. It's possible to watch satellite tv in this way, but also to watch programs that are stored on the hard drive of the Gigablue UHD Quad 4K.

Main advantage is that you need only one smartcard. The IP Box is furthermore compact and no additional coax connection is required. Everybody can watch satellite tv, independed of each other (depending of the number of tuners in the Gigablue UHD Quad 4K receiver).
