VU+ Zero 4K UHD satellite set-top box

The VU+ Zero 4K UHD DVB-S2X digital satellite / cable settop box is the sequential of the popular VU+ Zero. The satellite version is based on a DVB-S2X multistream tuner.

The new VU+ Zero 4K has a bigger internal memory and a more powerfull Dual Core 7K DMIPS processor with 4GB eMMC memory.

With a smartcard or CI module you have acces to PayTV from providers like Canal Digital, TV Flanders, Telesat, Fransat and / or Joyne.

As operating system VU+ sticks to Linux Enigma2, the populair OpenPli firmware. A release candidate version is available and can be downloaded via https://openpli.org/download/vuplus/Zero+4K/ (Release Candidate versie).

By connecting an external hard drive it's also possible to record or timeshift programs. An external hard disk is optional for this receiver.

The VU+ Zero 4K supports also the HEVC / H265-decoding and 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range).
