This free actuality service of TechniSat keeps the software of the Digit ISIO S3 updated. As soon extensions or improvements of the software are available, these will be updated on the given time (can be set in the menu of the device). This guarantees a future proof working of the device based on the latest software and available apps.

AutoInstall

When the Digit ISIO S3 is used for the first time, a few important settings need to be done (for instance the setting of local conditions).

In easy steps the Installation Wizard of TechniSat will guide you through the various steps and dialogue windows, so the required configurations can be done fast and easy.

TechniFamily

With TechniFamily you can create password protected user profiles. For each profile individual access options and limitations can be defined, for instance access to certain content of the total allowed time of watching TV. This allows parents to control the time to watch TV of their children.

MyTechniSat-App

It has never been easier to use your receiver for watching tv, to program it from a distance or to play multimedia files. With the smartphone-app MyTechniSat compatible devices can be controlled directly via the touchscreen of the smartphone, but it's also possible to set timers for recording or to check setting via the same touchscreen of your mobile smartphone. Above all MyTechniSat gives access to all kind of multimedia functions as well.

HDTV

HDTV stands for tv with a high resolution and therefor for an excellent image quality. In HDTV images are more detailled and displayed with much finer nuances. Contrast and contours are more accurate and colours are more natural.

Twin-tuner

The DVB-S2 satellite tuner is a Twin tuner. This allows the simultaneous processing of two different channels / programs, i.e. one program / channel can be watched and another program / channel can be recored. It's also possible to view 2 programs at the same time (Picture in Picture).

DVR

With an integrated digital video recorder (DVR) digital tv- and radio programs can be recorded without quality loss. It's also possible to pause 'live' tv programs (timeschift), for instance when you want to get a cup of coffee and miss nothing of your favourite program of football game.
